The birth of a vision (Vignan Educational Foundation)
In the year 1991, a group of dedicated and eminent educationalists of India, came together to establish the Vignan Educational Foundation at Bangalore. Their commitment objective was to provide high standards of medical, technological and related education. The foundation work in a spirit of partnership with many foreign countries, organizations and communities for effective development, delivery and management for education and health services. Ever since , the Foundation has brought years of experience in the fields of education, administration, management, construction and hospital administration to the private sector at both national and international levels. However our focus has always been on education.
The Vignan Educational Foundation is situated in the Beautiful garden city of Bangalore. Now more widely known as IT city of India, Bangalore offers the student a peaceful and conductive environment ideal for academic pursuits, learning and achievement within a large cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Foundation is located at 5/3 Hosur Road, easily accessible from all parts of the city.

Chairman
The Chairman of the
Trust, KATURI SUBBA RAO
is an educationalist and it was his
vision to start dental and medical colleges along with the all necessary infrastructure
within the India and in abroad. It was with this dream that he instituted the Bangalore Institute of Dental
Sciences under the Vignan Educational Trust with a 120 bedded hospital by name Vignan Hospital at 22, Hosur Road with
sophisticated equipment and departments in all specialities. In this Hospital the patients can avail In-patient and surgical facilities at bare minimum cost. His constant desire to improve sees the institution in a permanent
state of evolution with better facilities and equipment being added regularly.
Under the aegis of the trust, colleges have also been started in
Medicine, Pharmacy, Management ,Engineering, and Nursing.
